European Pen Centerband Inlay Kit

Included in these European Centerband Inlay Kits are 6 rings (2 red maple, 2 blue maple and 2 natural maple). This gives you the option of framing the blue section with 2 or 3 rings on either side or configuring your centerband like the one in the picture. There's also 2 or 3 extra stars included with the kit just in case. The glue of choice for the stars is thinned yellow glue (carpenter's glue). These maple centerbands have the same inside diameter as the metal centerbands you receive with the European pens kits. You'll still have to turn the tenon on your upper barrel and then glue the assembled Americana style centerband onto the tenon. Once the glue has dried you can turn it all flush and to final size.
